WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FLOWER
Preacher: These flowers look fresh and stunning; I wonder how much it's costing you to make them look these natural?
Gardener: Growing flowers is my passion and so cost is never an issue, I just love sharing one of nature's best, especially now that too many folks seems so wrapped up with their jobs...
You know, In my line of work, I am yet to see a day any of these colorful flowers is neglected, this is why it sadden my heart as I daily watch too many good people grown and wither unnoticed.
we humans whom are suppose to be God's engineers has become economist, by sub-consciously pricing every relationships before it commence, instead of binding and building people with love and enhancing others around us to the glory of God the creator.
Preacher: let me see if I get your point correctly, you are saying that humans are created to build relationships with each other and with God, but many don't enter into any kind of relationships just because they are cost conscious people? but, why is that a problem to you?, after all if they never give they can't expect to receive, Please can you be more specific?
Gardener: everybody craves and expects their urges to be met, for example, I become a gardener because I love the difference in people and growing all kinds of flower have certainly helped me to satisfy this inner craving, am sure you have your own wants, just like many who are not willing to pay the commitment token fee with sincere appreciation that every solid relationship requires to stand the test of time, be it with people around us or with God almighty.
Preacher: okay if relationship is a matter of choice like you said, then why are the streets paved with images of unhappy role models who find pleasure in stage managed pretense? I mean just try asking and listening within your immediate family or people in your community.
And you will soon discover that their smiles are just a serenade to camouflage the irony of loneliness that comes with broken hearts or shattered family, which is common among the affluence and the over religious people?
Gardener: that's exactly my point, many are neglecting themselves unconsciously by avoiding building any kind of relationships forgetting the fact that life is all about sharing and only those committed to paying the tolls for a decent relationship is entitle to have it.
Preacher: alright let's assume that those crying life is unfair are the lonely and cost conscious people claiming that time and money are things they will never have enough of, talk less of sharing it with anyone.
But I only hope that each pause to ask what is the purpose of my existence? instead of constantly masquerading loneliness under my career comes first agenda.
Gardener: people give flowers out of appreciation and concern for the receiver whom they have a relationship with or would be delighted to start some kind of closeness with, anyway, sometimes the lucky ones do realize on time that they are missing out on sharing the beautiful things of life that comes with different relationships, Such as happy birthdays, wedding invitation, gradations hospitals, churches, funeral and every other reasons for celebration
Preacher: yes it is so true none of us is self sufficient, I mean no matter who you are, what you have, or how well dressed you feel, you still want to hear others comments good or bad. now I realize that my loved ones gets angry when they don't hear from me for a while because they truly care and they just want to make sure that am not lonely or took their relationship with me for granted. Could these also be true with God about those who refuse to enter into a relationship him?
Gardener: without solid relationship with others a person is only fooling themselves, I know the effects beautiful flowers has people and the environment, for example the last time we visited the mall I went with a nursing mother and I noticed that people were unconsciously complimenting the babies and their mothers and no matter where we enter or who we met people reacted with the same comment of what a lovely child!
Every flower serves three purposes: it shows that somebody cares, it brightens the receiver's week and it beautifies the environments, this is why you hardly see frown faces in flowers shop, for every buyer is engulfed with what effect the flowers will have on the person receiving them rather than the cost.
Preacher: every child came with the possibility of enjoying two loving parents, but only the obedient child will comprehend both parents love, because true mothers see every child as a flower that comes to beautify the world, and so proper rearing is not just a challenge, but a duty compels by incomprehensive and unconditional love that deify logic.
Gardener: Likewise Cultivating beautiful flowers requires having compassion for others and been appreciative for daily blessing which is to see things from nature's point of view.
Preacher: you are been modest, I mean if is that easy with growing beautiful flower why is every house not having a garden
Gardener: It took me awhile to recognize that even though there exist different flowers for different weather, each is unique in serving its created purpose and keeping this line of thought has greatly helped my flowers to remain natural because I do care enough to watch and listen while nature supply the nutrients
Preacher: what exactly do you mean by nature supply the nutrient when I just saw you spraying chemical and watering the flowers?
Gardener: Mr. Preacher am sure you drove pass many gardens before coming to mine and I know that you know that most of us use chemicals in our gardens, but I am glad you ask me rather than been misled by my actions, you see, watering and spraying chemicals is a duty as my personal commitment to show these flowers that I care.
Preacher: well I heard someone mention it before that with the use of artifact and additives there will be no beautiful gardens, but?
Gardener: but what preacher? am surprise that even you do not know the powers of God, I mean I am having a good year only because am blessed by God, or can't you see that my garden is not the biggest nor the smallest around here and I know that am not all that educated.
Gardener: even my grand son knows that with all the chemicals available there could still be too much rain, too much heat and less sunshine for proper germination.
Preacher: to be candid I have an idea of God's awesome powers, and that's all any of us can truly say, for who can understand the force behind wave of the sea, the winter blizzard which we can see, or the animals that humans tame, talk less of the living God's mighty power.
Gardener: you are right preacher man; I just wish that we humans could know our created purpose and most of these secrets will unveil?
Preacher: frankly speaking the answer to your question is the Christian Holy Bible, but before we open the bible can you just tell me as the owner of this beautiful garden and a parent what you want and expect from your children and staffs?
Gardener: common on preacher you know what every builder and parent demands from their children is to be loved, obeyed and respected
Preacher: did you say love, obedience and respect is all you want from them. And what are you willing to give them in return?
Gardener: everything here and more are for those who acknowledges me as the owner and their father and staff and my grandchildren included.
Preacher: I would like to go and tell your children about your plan for them just in case their not aware of whom they are and what heritage awaits them.
Gardener: well many of them are parents themselves, so they know first what is like to be a parent and others also know that they have parents and each person knows that I have the power to turn of the air or heat, but you can go and explain again because I would not accept any excurses as a quite convinced that each of them is afraid of judges.
Preacher: ok, can I just briefly state my understanding of what you expect from each and all your children
First is that they must show you respect by acknowledging you in all their doings, secondly each must obey your laws by showing compassion and appreciation for the beautiful flowers and things that you have created and thirdly each must live in peace by loving their neighbors like themselves.
Gardener: I want you to bear in mind that the maker of these flowers had a purpose; otherwise they wouldn't be in existence. But most people are not aware of the fact that the human purpose is to grow by truthfully having a one on one loving relationship with God.
Unfortunately, many have redefined their life's purpose based upon cost consciousness and so they think that working hard and accumulating is all that there is to life. Their first priority is make more money, never stopping to ask, for whom and for what purpose am I labouring day and nights?
Preacher: You know the bible say's “what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul” In what ways are your life fulfilled, other than your job? As a beautiful flower do you share and care? Do you have compassion towards others? Do you compliment and brighten family and friends days, Are you on the same wave band with the prosperous gardener who acknowledges that both the chemist and their chemicals are God's handiwork just like himself and his beautiful flowers are the blessing from God almighty the first true chemist and creator of all.
Each of us is like a beautiful flower that is here today and tomorrow is gone ,so today start building lives because the Sad fact is that the wonderful people you deliberately ignored or snorted at, ends up been your Comforting hugs in the sick bay.
The Parable of the Sower Explained: [matthew13:3-16]
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he, who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, which indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
